Watermelon and Mint Agua Fresca

Light and refreshing perfect for sitting out on the back patio this summer. Mint, is well known as a mouth and breath freshener but did you know the herb has been used for hundreds of years for its remarkable medicinal properties too? Studies are showing it has positive effects on digestion, nausea, fatigue, depression and respiratory issues.

Ingredients

2 cups cold water

2 cups watermelon, chopped and seeded

Juice of ½ a lime

¼ chopped mint leaves

2 cups ice cubes

Instructions

Add all ingredients into the blend and puree until smooth.

Poor mixture through a strainer into a pitcher.

 Chill and serve.
