The Morning After Smoothie

We have all experienced the morning after a great time. Help ease the day by whipping up this smoothie. The greens will help support your liver to do its job and the coconut water will replace the necessary electrolytes. The good fat and protein will bring up your energy and help you sustain it through the day.

Ingredients

1 cup coconut water

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

½ of a frozen banana

1 tbsp coconut oil

½ tbsp honey or sweetener of choice

1 serving of your favorite vegan protein powder

A handful of spinach or kale (stems removed)

Instructions

Place all ingredients in your blender and blend until well mixed. Enjoy!

Note: you may want to melt the coconut oil first if you don’t have a high powered blender.
