Chia Berry Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

Chia Berry Smoothie Bowl

½ a cup of frozen Cranberries

½ a cup of frozen Raspberries

½ a cup of frozen Acai berries

½ frozen banana

1 tablespoon of chia seeds

1 cup of unsweetened almond milk

2 teaspoons of agave

 

Top with:

Chopped Almonds

Coconut shavings

Love crunch granola

Fresh cranberries, raspberries and/or acai berries (or berries of choice)

Fresh chopped banana

Smoothie bowls are often more substantial than traditional smoothies, with plenty of healthy fats and extra toppings. But most of all they can really look stunning. Hint: if you’re looking to create a work of art make sure you add your heaviest ingredients last. Start with 1 cup of any frozen fruit and a banana. As most smoothie bowls are on the thicker side, add your liquid slowly until you have just enough for your blender to work. You’ll likely need to tamper it down or stop the blender to re-adjust your ingredients when the blender starts to get stuck.
