Raw Apple Crisp

Very easy to make, raw, apple crisp. Can also be heated up for a warm treat!

8 apples, peeled and sliced. Reserve 6 apples.

1 cup raisins, soaked and drained

2 tsp cinnamon, divided

¼ tsp nutmeg

2 Tbsp lemon juice

2 cups walnuts

½ cup medjool dates

1/3 cup honey

1/8 tsp sea salt


Place two apples, the raisins, 1 tsp cinnamon and nutmeg into a food processor. Process until smooth.

Toss the remaining apples with lemon juice in a bowl. Pour in the processed mixture and mix well.

Place the walnuts, dates, honey and sea salt in a food processor. Process until coarsely ground. Sprinkle on top of the apples and serve cold, or warm up and serve!
