Summer is here and berry season has arrived. We are lucky to have these gems in Canada. Lots of places in the world have never experienced the likes of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries or the humble Saskatoon berry.  The season is short so be sure to get them when on sale and freeze a bunch for smoothies, crisps and compotes in the cold winter months.
