Fermented Vegan Cheese

¾ cup cashews, soaked overnight and drained
¾ cup filtered water (more if you like a like “cheese to be thinner”)
½ cup nutritional yeast
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp ground cumin
½ tsp garlic powder
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp tamari
¼ tsp sea salt
¼ cup fermented vegan proteins+ unflavoured
Tabasco, or hot sauce of choice to taste


Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
Serve with corn chips, black beans, salsa, guacamole or favourite nacho toppings
