4 cups milk alternative
1/3 cup agar flakes
1 cup non-dairy milk mixed with 1/4 cup arrowroot
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup dry coconut
1/4 tsp ground cardamom
1 tbsp vanilla
Mix together 1 cup non-dairy milk and arrowroot powder. Set aside.
In a saucepan combe remaining 4 cups of milk and agar flakes.
Heat until the agar dissolves and then add remaining ingredients, including the milk and arrowroot mixture.
Stir continually, bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes or until it starts to thicken.
Pour into individual bowls or a glass serving bowl and chill 2 hours before serving. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
