Take your fermentation to the next level by making your own starter culture and then make homemade, gluten-free and ancient grain sourdough bread.

Bread often gets a bad rap, but there’s nothing like hot, yummy bread right out of the oven - especially if it’s fermented sourdough bread! Sourdough bread made with wild yeast, bacteria, and whole grain flour is the oldest and most original form of leavened bread. It truly is an ancient art that is crafted in harmony with nature. Sourdough bread contains the bacteria Lactobacillus in a higher proportion to yeast than do other breads – which equals more mineral availability and easier digestion! Take your fermentation to the next level by making your own starter culture (used in many other fermentation projects) and then make homemade, gluten-free and ancient grain sourdough bread. Hagar will show you how to create and nurture your starter and then demonstrate how to make bread, pancakes and other good-for-your-gut recipes.
