With much excitement, New Urban Farm Partnerships brings you a documentary exploring Calgary's local food movement. From the ground up and the top down, issues of land access, policy, finance, climate, and city planning are examined. Hear the thoughts of farmers, restaurant owners, councillors, and others on the ground taking action and fighting for the potential they see in Calgary to become a leader in sustainable food systems. Stay after the movie to ask questions and discuss recent updates of representatives from New Urban Farm Partnership.

New Urban Farm Partnerships (an initiative supported by HSCA's Community Food Program) aims to foster urban agriculture in Calgary through connecting urban farmers with land where they can produce nutritious and sustainable food while engaging citizens, activating underutilized public, private and institutional spaces, and working toward restoring and revitalizing the urban food system.
