Fennel and Potato Side

Ingredients:

  • 6 medium potatoes cubed
  • 1 small fennel bulb (2 cups cubed)
  • 4 whole garlic cloves peeled
  • 1/2 cup butter milk
  • 2 T. butter
  • salt and pepper

Preparation:

  1. Boil vegetables in salted water, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes until tender.
  2. Drain. Mash with buttermilk and butter, add salt and pepper to taste and serve.
  3. Great with any roasted saucy meat.
