Interfaith Food Bank

In the past Community has had seasonal campaigns to gather food for the food bank. At our Stampede Breakfast this year we helped to raise 600lbs of food and $315.89 in cash donations for the Food Bank.

The Calgary Interfaith Food Bank is a charitable organization dedicated to gathering and distribution of quality emergency food to those in need.  The majority of their clients are the working poor struggling to make ends meet, occasionally unable to do so. Their Mission is to provide quality emergency food to those in need. .

At the end of the 2008/2009 school year University School held a Health Fest which educated their students on the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Community participated in their nutrition booth that provided a healthy and litter less snack for the attendees.
