BANANA CHOCOLATE HEMP MUFFINS
Ingredients
250 ml (1 cup) hemp flour
250 ml (1 cup) spelt flour
125 ml (½ cup) hemp nut seed
125 ml (½ cup) soya/protein powder
250 ml (1 cup) flax seed meal (ground flax seeds)
375 ml (1 ½) cups oats
5 ml (1 tsp) sea salt
62 ½ ml (¼) cup organic cane sugar
125 ml (½ cup) organic cocoa powder
125 ml (½ cup) organic carob chips
15 ml (1 tbsp) baking powder (aluminum free)
2 large organic bananas (or 3 small)
875 ml (3 ½ cups) water
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 176 C (350 F).
- In a large mixing bowl, mix all dry ingredients together. In a separate bowl, blend bananas with water. Combine wet mixture to the dry mixture. Mix until smooth.
- Lightly oil muffin tray. Spoon mixture into tray. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- For a perfectly balanced snack, top muffin with hemp seed nut butter.
